Traditional atmosphere, friendly staff and the best dining – the “Hirtenstube” in the Bäckstätt Stall offers everything a gourmet would expect from a mountain restaurant. The sumptuous menu ranges from traditional, local dishes to specialities straight from the wood fired oven.

 

Regional delicacies like “Pinzgau spare ribs” or “Kasnock’n” are prepared freshly by our kitchen team, as are all our dishes, using only the best quality ingredients.

 

Special requests like fondue, duck, knuckle of pork, or roast beef as well as individual menus can be ordered in advance.

 

Our range of drinks is just as extensive: As well as freshly tapped local beer, our staff delight in serving you with a fine wine. We have a selection of over 50 wines, mostly from Austrian vineyards.

 

The “Hirtenstube” can accommodate up to 90 people. Reservations are accepted.
Hot food is served from 10am to 9pm.
